  • PTA President: Sonia Sandhu

    • Coordinate the work of officers and committees, represent the association at council and district meetings, authorize finances, and approve communications before distribution

  • Executive VP: OPEN

    • Serve as the primary aide to the president, and provide guidance on California State PTA policies and procedures

  • Treasurer: Winona Chen

    • Keep accurate records of finances including items of gross income, receipts and disbursements of the association, pay bills, and oversee the budget

  • VP Membership: Sophia Chan

    • Promote and encourage membership enrollment throughout the year, collect dues, and distribute membership cards.

  • VP Communication: Chanden Moya

    • Give a regular communications report to PTA, use PTA publications to promote PTA events and share information, maintain an up-to-date website and use social media to communicate with members.

  • Web Administration: Akila Rao

    • Maintains up-to-date information on PTA events on Sam Lawson PTA Website

  • Auditor: Kasyap Pasumarthi

    • Audit the books and financial records of the association semiannually, and prepare and present the midyear and year-end audit reports

  • Parliamentarian: Suma Bokka

    • Be trained and informed on Parliamentary procedures and Unit Bylaws to be able to interpret PTA policies, chair the bylaws committee, and call the first meeting of the nominating committee

  • Secretary: Sonia Maini

    • Keep an accurate, concise, permanent record of the proceedings of all meetings of the association and of the executive board, assist with voting procedure, and record amendments to bylaws

  • Historian: Saroj Bangaru

    • Capture, assemble and record PTA activities and achievements, collect and record volunteer hours for PTA meetings and events
