Graduation Committee Roles:

Graduation Chair: Carol Lou

• Oversees the planning and execution/coordination of the promotion party at the end of the year for 8th graders.

• Stays in touch with other chairpersons to ensure timeline is being met.

• Recruits a volunteer to create the invitation for the promotion ceremony and promotion party.

• Assists other chairpersons with recruiting volunteers for the various divisions.

• Reports to PTA President

Decoration Chair: OPEN

• Plans and executes/coordinates on the decorations for the promotion party.

• Recruit volunteers for decorations.

• Holds meetings to plan with the decoration volunteers.

• Reports to Graduation Chair to keep chairperson up to date with process.

Entertainment Chair: OPEN

• Plans and coordinates the entertainment for the promotion party.

• Recruit volunteers for entertainment.

• Holds meetings to plan with the entertainment volunteers.

• Reports to Graduation Chair to keep chairperson up to date with process.

Food Chair: OPEN

• Plans and coordinates the food for the promotion party.

• Recruit volunteers for serving/planning menu options.

• Holds meetings to plan with the food volunteers.

• Reports to Graduation Chair to keep chairperson up to date with process.
