WHERE DO YOUR DIRECT DONATIONS GO?
As our largest source of funding, your Direct Donation contribution is the primary financial engine for sponsoring our programs and activities. PTA collaborates closely with Lawson staff and teachers to prioritize and bring to fruition ideas and projects that would otherwise not be possible.
Past and ongoing programs include
School infrastructure: Event center sound system, walkie-talkies for emergency use, ping-pong tables
Student enrichment: Julia Robinson Math Festival, Yosemite Science Camp, International Night, Reflections (Art), Math Olympiad, Math Counts, and WEB leaders
Teacher Grants: School assemblies, software, science projects, and books that are recommended by the teachers to complement and enhance their curriculum
Hospitality: Student socials, Staff appreciation, family nights, 8th grade graduation and more
