Volunteer Coordinator

The Volunteer Coordinator is the chief coordinator for all volunteer needs supporting Lawson PTA events.

The Volunteer Coordinator shall:

• Reports to the PTA Historian.

• Work closely with the PTA Executive Board.

• Maintain close contact with the school administration to provide administrative support if additional volunteers are needed for school events such as socials, field trips, etc. 

• Promote volunteering sign ups and engagement through communication channels such as word of mouth, flyers, and others.

• Maintain and update the volunteer database through the year.

• Create and maintain the relationship with high school volunteer organizations to enlist volunteers.

• Assist the PTA Historian with keeping track of volunteer hours.
