Oversees the planning and execution/coordination of the promotion party at the end of the year for 8th graders.
Stays in touch with other chairpersons to ensure timeline is being met.
Recruits a volunteer to create the invitation for the promotion ceremony and promotion party.
Assists other chairpersons with recruiting volunteers for the various divisions.
Reports to PTA President
Decoration Chair: Reyna Martinez Perez
Plans and executes/coordinates on the decorations for the promotion party.
Recruit volunteers for decorations.
Holds meetings to plan with the decoration volunteers.
Must be present at the party for setup and clean up
Reports to Promotion Chair to keep chairperson up to date with process.
Entertainment Chair: Winona Chen
Plans and coordinates the entertainment for the promotion party.
Recruit volunteers for entertainment.
Holds meetings to plan with the entertainment volunteers.
Must be present at the party for setup.

Food Co-Chairs: Sikta Khastagir and Keri Taylor
Plans and coordinates the food for the promotion party.
Recruit volunteers for serving/planning menu options.
Holds meetings to plan with the food volunteers.

Chaperone Chair: Ruth Lee
Plans and coordinates the chaperones for the promotion party.
Recruit volunteers for different stations at the party.
