PTA SPONSORS, ORGANIZES, AND/OR RUNS ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS AND EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES DURING FOR OUR STUDENTS.

Together with the collaboration of staff and parent volunteers, Lawson PTA provides opportunities for our students to further enhance their education with enrichment in and outside of the classroom.  All of the programs and events that the PTA provides are only possible through our donations and through parent volunteers.

Some of the programs that we provide and support are:

• • Student Enrichment Activities

    • Support student enrichment programs such as Lawson Leadership, PTA Reflections (Art), and WEB leaders.

  • Special Events

    • Student Social Events

      • Beyond academics, PTA sponsors fun events to celebrate friendship and create memories through social events for students

    • Family Engagement & Support

      • Parents can get familiar with school and meet other families through various workshops, information sessions and social events.

  • Hospitality Events

    • Hospitality events for parents, teachers, and volunteers

  • 8th Grade Promotion

    • The 8th grade promotion party at the end of the school year is a tradition to bid farewell and good luck to our middle school graduating class.

  • Teacher Grants

    • Supplements classroom education as identified by the teachers themselves. This is money poured directly into the classrooms and provides support across either a Grade Level, or across a core subject, or even at school level.

  • Capital Grants

    • Finances infrastructural project(s) in an area of need as identified by the school Administration.

  • Resourced Equipments

    • Equipment for use by the whole school: library support, technology, etc.
