Ruth grew up and attended schools in Cupertino from 3rd through 12th grade! Ruth works full-time at a neighboring school district and is happiest when she's with her family, friends, and traveling. This is Ruth's third year on the board.
Keri moved to the Cupertino school district just in time for her youngest to start kindergarten. Keri works full-time nearby and is passionate about gardening, family disc golf and reading. This is Keri's first year on the board, and both her kids are at Lawson.
Sikta is a dedicated community leader passionate about youth development, education, and social impact initiatives. She has served in multiple leadership roles within the PTA for several years, actively supporting school programs, parent engagement, and student enrichment activities. Sikta is also deeply involved in organizing events and initiatives that promote leadership, collaboration, and community service among young people. Her ability to build strong partnerships and create impactful programs has made her a trusted advocate for education and youth empowerment.
Swati has been volunteering with the PTA for a few years now. She works part-time and enjoys spending time with her family. Swati strongly believes in giving back to the community.
Radhika moved to Cupertino School District in 2022. She has been volunteering at elementary and at Lawson sincer her move to the Bay Area. Currently she works part-time and in her spare time, enjoys cooking, reading, and traveling. This is Radhika's first year on the board.
Carol moved to the U.S. in 2003 and settled in the South Bay in 2008. With a strong background in event planning since college, she now holds a leadership role in a local non-profit organization. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, hiking, and supporting her kids at their basketball games.
Taru works in HR and has been an active volunteer for several years. Although this is her first year on the board, she has already led multiple programs to support the community. Passionate about lifelong learning, she is currently involved in advancing children’s education programs through a renowned NGO in rural areas. A people person with a creative spirit, Taru finds joy in music, dance, and treasures the strength of family bonds.
Chanden is a Bay Area native and has been volunteering for the community before she was 10. She has been on several non-profit boards and volunteered with the school PTAs since 2016 starting in various PTA board roles including PTA President for four years at two different schools. Chanden enjoys reading, quilting and game nights.
Angela moved to the U.S. in 2002 and has lived in the Bay Area since 2008. She is a CPA and works full time as an accounting professional. Previously, she volunteered with the Eisenhower PTA while her daughter was a student there. In her free time, Angela enjoys cooking, baking, hiking and traveling with her family.
